Meridian Retaining Walls connects homeowners in Meridian and the Treasure Valley with independent local retaining wall contractors. When you call or send a request, we talk through your wall with you: the slope, the wall type, what your city will ask for and what it’s likely to cost. Then we help you find a contractor who works in your city to visit, quote and do the work. Asking costs you nothing, and there’s no obligation to hire anyone.
Legally that makes us a referral service, not a contracting company. Your contract is with the contractor you choose.
Who does the work
Retaining walls are built, repaired and replaced by independent contractors who are not employed by this site. Each contractor is responsible for holding the contractor registration Idaho requires, for carrying insurance, for pulling the permits the job needs, and for their own prices, schedule, workmanship and warranty.
How contractors are checked
Before a contractor receives work through this site, we ask them to confirm their Idaho contractor registration and that they carry liability insurance, and we look up the registration in the state’s public records. That check is a starting point, not a guarantee. Before you sign anything, ask the contractor for their registration number and certificate of insurance and check them yourself, and get the price, the scope and the timeline in writing.
How the site is paid
Contractors may pay a fee for the jobs and calls they receive through this site. It can be a flat fee or a share of the job. That fee is between us and the contractor and does not change what you pay. Asking about your wall costs you nothing.
What the information on this site is
The pages on cost, permits, drainage and building methods are general guidance written to help you plan and ask the right questions. Rules and fees change and can apply differently to your lot, so confirm them with your city, county or irrigation district. Prices are typical published ranges, not quotes.
